Jango is an AI companion made by Vuukle. This page says plainly what it keeps and why.
What you say or type to Jango, its replies, the things it remembers about you, its predictions, and a log of the actions it prepared for you. These are stored on our servers in a private store that belongs to your account alone.
Only with your permission, and only when it helps with something you asked: calendar events, reminders and contact details. What is read is sent to our servers to answer you and becomes part of the conversation that is stored.
Your speech is turned into text by Apple's speech recognition on your phone or on Apple's servers. Jango does not keep audio recordings. To speak in a natural voice, the text of Jango's replies is sent to Google's speech service, or to DeepInfra's if you switch on the trial voice.
The Jango keyboard and the Jango app inside Messages send text to our servers only when you tap one of their buttons, and only the text in the box you are typing in. It is used to write the result and is not kept. The keyboard needs “Allow Full Access” for this; it does not record what you type on other keyboards.
Messages you exchange with other people inside Jango are end-to-end encrypted: they are locked on your phone and only the other person's phone can open them. Jango's servers store them locked and cannot read them. If you ask Jango to read your messages or reply for you, your phone unlocks those messages and passes them to Jango for that request. Calls go directly between the two phones, or through a relay that cannot hear or see them.
When you mark a reply as wrong, tell Jango what it got wrong, or show clear frustration with it, that reply and what you said about it are kept so the people who build Jango can fix it.
Anthropic (the AI model that writes the replies), Google (the spoken voice) and Cloudflare (hosting). They process the data to provide the service. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.
In the app, open the person icon. You can make Jango forget any single memory, export everything, or delete everything. Deleting removes your conversations, memories and account from our servers permanently.
Jango is not intended for children under 16.
